Watching Gov/Pastor Mike Huckabee

I don't know if any of you watch Huckabee on FOX News, but this week is Elvis's Birthday and he had Elvis's adopted brother on the show. His brother might have been the last person to talk to him. He asked Elvis about this young lady that was talking to him about Jesus and Elvis responded to him" Its the person that talks to you about Jesus Christ that truelly cares about you" that made me think to all my family and friends in the past and present. Anyone can say they're your friend, but as I reflect my true friends I met in Ketchikan. I remember when I backslid and had been using I ran into an Elder I respected and respect very much almost like a Dad to me. He told me"Jon your messing up and you need to get back in fellowship with Jesus and other believers". This is the type of Christian that I wish to become( it seems the Lord has given him x-ray vision into my mind and soul even when I was in Michigan) The one thing I have noticed is that I'm asked by those that do care not how I am physically, "but how are you doing spiritually Jon"

My holidays Christmas and New Years

Well for Christmas I got one of the best presents from Yahoo lol, found Matthew's number and got to talk to him a few days before Christmas. I can't fathom all the changes in the last 5 years, Congrads to you and Caren and your growing family. I hope and pray that its not 5 more years before I get to see everyone or hear their voices again. I'm not sure how this thing works, blogging that is. I got to see Becky's blog from Virgil and Patsy and Lord knows I need all the support and encouragement, reminds me of Paul when he talks about wanting to do good but messes up. If you want to email me Virgil and Patsy has it (already gave them permission to give it to all CPCC friends). God bless and wish you all a great year!

oh if you know how to add friends let me know please

My first time "blogging" lol

Well I'm trying to learn this new thing. Those that know me KNOW I'm not a big writer, so bear with me and I'll try and update often. Love and miss all my Ketchikan family, can't believe how spread out everyone is now.
